Like most ideas, the concept of a leash / anchor combination was inspired by our own needs. We fell in love with Mojo, a furry little Pomeranian bundle of energy. When circumstances caused her owners to move to a much smaller place, they made the difficult decision to let Mojo go to another home, and we were blessed that they chose us. Mojo joined our family which included our 35lb. gentle dog named Ebony. A fence was not an option for us, so we used a cable that we would hook Mojo up to and let her run in the yard. It did keep her from running out on the road and chasing people, but the cable dragged along the ground, through the dirt, debris (and other little deposits). There had to be a better way. None of the other retractable dog leashes out there could offer us what we needed. Mojo had lost her entire right front leg in an accident as a pup. She is quite the little trouper and it didn’t slow her down much, but the cable was a problem, and occasionally she would trip over it, so we set out to design something better. Now we are pleased to share with you the result of that process.
